P0172 system too rich bank 1

Hey folks, My RL has been running rough for awhile. Finally got my hands on a code reader. I know it could be a vacuum leak or a exhaust leak and i couldnt find either. Possible cause number one is a bad Osensor.


I notice at times i have to hold the starter longer for it to kick over and some times it cranks right over in a split second. Most of the time it fires right up first start of the day and on ocassion. This vehicle is equipped with the M2engine.


MAF sensor failures are extremely rare on these engines. I'd be checking the pipes under the inlet manifold. Air leak by the looks of that. Dirt On The MAF Mass Air Flow Sensor can cause MAF Mass Air Flow Sensors To overestimate air flow.
