I am looking to add a windshield and the selection for the dual headlight Rocket is kind of slim. The Madstad is well regarded on the V-Strom and other adventure fourms, but I never see them talked about on the cruiser bikes. Please forgive the unprofessional video and rather dull speaking. The thumb-wheels near the upper bracket slots allows you to do adjustments without tools.

I painted the lower inside of the windshield with flat-black paint. After experimenting with quite a few heights and angles, my overall verdict: goo but not great. Another thing to look for concerning the rattle is check to see if the lower set of bolts (on the Madstad bracket) are snug (not tight).

These are the bolts below the hand knobs that have a nylon insert lock nut on them. If they are too loose, they allow the windshield bracket to rattle some.
