So my lowish mile stage competition clutch is slipping after a hard launch. I inspected the clutch less then 1k miles ago swapping long block and switching to a small 16g.

What they did was to completely re-design the pressure plate housing to allow it to accommodate a larger diameter clutch disk. It allows for a 2 increase in the stock torque capacity. All EXEDY Stage cerametallic clutch discs have sprung center dampers to reduce the impact and shock loads transmitted through the drivetrain. I am debating over the competition stage and the exedy stage 2. I know there are thousand of these threads about which clutch should I get and which one is better in your opinion. But most of the ones i usually see are act vs exedy, exedy usually wins. Even better, it retains an OEM feel whilst being able to cope with more torque than standard.
